Exclusive at the scrapyard..

Ruben van der Horst, a Dutch GS/GSA enthousiast managed to shoot these marvelous pictures at a scrapyard in France. It is not everyday you stumble upon a Service Vitree, this already was the case in the seventies and this certainly applies now more than ever. Therefor it is very remarkable to see this Vitree sitting at scrapyard.

The state of the car seems considering the circumstancers rather good. Since this is a very unique car it is important the specific details of it are kept well. (If considering a restoration) The more general parts are still replaceable. The specific details off this type are of course the side rear windows, the side bodywork and the interiour details of the trunk. As the pictures shows all these parts where in a fairly good shape. Of course the roof is dented, but that is nothing good workmanship cannot fix.

Therefor it is even more sad to say that the car is probally not alive anymore. Someone saw the photo's and went back trying to save it, but it already was too late. The scrapyard was cleaned up and all the cars where gone.
